Drone (RPAS) pilots
If your pilots transmit on aviation frequencies, for example on pipeline, transmission-line or highway corridor work, they need a ROC-A. If they never transmit on an aviation radio, they may not.
ROC-A group exams let a whole project or drone crew get its Restricted Operator Certificate - Aeronautical without travelling. Each candidate sits a one-on-one online exam with a ROC-A examiner, booked back to back, and the company receives one invoice. The standard price is CA$113 per candidate, all-inclusive (tax included). Candidates must be physically in Canada for the exam.
